Saturday Orders
I opted to receive orders on weekends only just so I’m home and can retrieve the packages before they are stolen. Not that it’s happened before although my order of Korean collagen sticks had gotten delivered to the wrong address.
Today, I received a bulk order of Earl Grey tea. A household staple; ordering it this way I’ve found provides the most savings. $.14 cents per tea bag as opposed to buying from Target or Safeway plus I avoid crowds, fighting over parking and using gas.
$17.04
Also ordered a few makeup replacements. A new-to-me concealer, an eyebrow mascara, an eyebrow pencil (a must-have) and a pressed powder compact that I got for $.14 cents after gift certificates and rewards.
$.14
I took the concealer and powder for a test run using just my fingers to apply and the thin foam sponge from the compact.
I wanted to try this lash serum + liner in Blackest Black since the eyeliner I currently have and used but stopped smears. Also part of the Color Stay line so I’m interested to see if it indeed lasts.
$9.88
I paid off my Sephora credit card. I used this in January to buy a gift ($168.48) Then used my Sephora card again to buy a Keratase thickening hair treatment, a Morocco Oil thickening hair serum, a Dr. Jart + Cryo rubber face mask
Half off the Cryo mask $11.
and two free gifts. Also used $15 off in points and rewards and earned 500 points.
I am auditioning new hair serums since the Nioxin foam I use is expensive.
This weekend started out expensive. I haven’t even mentioned the $100 Mountain Mike take out for Valentine’s Day or the $23.11 Banh Mi sandwich and Vietnamese coffee I ordered for lunch on Door Dash on Friday but sometimes that’s just how life is. Most weeks we hardly spend any money but on those weeks we really need to it is relieving to know we have that option not everyone does. I realize this and I am grateful.
